Conveyancing Gold Coast

Your trusted experts in property law, and Queensland’s top-rated conveyancers

In our 20 years of experience in residential property conveyancing, we’ve seen lots of things go wrong.

Many solicitors treat conveyancing files like they are second rate legal matters, and often do not pay attention to details on the file, which leads to critical things being overlooked.

Your Property Settlement In Safe Hands

Keylaw is a residential property conveyancing firm. That means our experienced team of conveyancing solicitors are specialists in this area of property law, so you can be sure your matter will be handled by people who live and breathe conveyancing law in Queensland.

We have seen cases of finance, or building and pest inspection clause deadlines being missed, costing clients many thousands of dollars or worse, causing them to miss out on their dream home or losing a great sale. Even when disaster is averted, the stress and inconvenience that can be caused to clients by unexpected delays and poor communication is, in our view, unacceptable.

Whether you are buying or selling a house, apartment vacant land, an investment property, retirement living or general contract preparation, our conveyancing team on the Gold Coast will guide you through the entire settlement process with care and attention.

Your Privacy And Safety Online

There is no escaping the digital age, and conveyancing is no exception, with the Queensland government having mandated the use of electronic conveyancing as of 2023. The vast majority of solicitors use legal software to track the progress of files, and most legal offices are all but completely paperless.

The risk of data leaks and hacks is a serious one, and never more so than in the conveyancing industry, where large sums of money and property titles are transferred electronically. It is more important than ever to choose a conveyancer you trust.

At Keylaw, every step of our client’s sale or purchase is managed with custom-built software coded by one of our directors and his team of developers here in Queensland. We have not outsourced our software to overseas developers like many other firms, and every step of our process has been carefully crafted with your security in mind.

We Keep You In Control

We’ve been in the conveyancing industry for over twenty years, so we’ve had plenty of time to talk to clients and listen to their feedback.

A common theme is always that people feel disconnected, or ill-informed about the progress of their sale or purchase, and this adds to the understandable anxiety that goes with buying and selling property. There is a perception that legal process of conveyancing is a bit of a ‘dark art,’ but the truth is it is often obscured by conveyancing solicitors who want to sell you their services at a higher price.

We know how important it is for you to feel confident, informed and in control of your property sale or purchase, and this is what we deliver for our clients. Our process is completely transparent, and we pride ourselves on our exceptional communication, ensuring you are kept up-to-date and in control as your matter progresses.

Unlike other firms, we do not use automated answering machines or offshore our file work. You can call our Gold Coast office directly, and speak to the local conveyancing lawyers there who are representing you anytime. You are also welcome to visit the office and meet our solicitors face-to-face.

What’s Included In Our Conveyancing Fees?

At Keylaw, we’re all about providing transparent and fixed low cost fees for our clients, keeping our conveyancing services accessible to everyone in the Gold Coast region.

Our highly competitive fees are $825 including GST for Buyers. This amount includes representing you throughout the contract period, managing contract milestones, liaising with the real estate agent, negotiating with the Seller on your behalf to achieve the best possible outcome for you, and acting for you at settlement.

Our conveyancing fees do not include government fees and charges. Estimating these is difficult to do without knowing particulars about the property you are purchasing, and your personal situation.

If you are budgeting for a purchase, and would like a detailed break-down of what the costs are likely to be, it is our pleasure to provide this for you obligation-free. Simply fill out a contact form, or call our office on 07 5528 3428

Our low, fixed conveyancing fees for Sellers are just $425 including GST. Our fee includes handling the legal work associated with the sale, representing you throughout the contract period, acting for you at settlement and conducting negotiations with the Buyer on your behalf to ensure the best possible outcome for you.

Our conveyancing fees do not include the third party fee charged by electronic conveyancing platforms. At the time of writing, this fee is $123.97. If you would like an itemised, written quote, please fill out our quote form, or call our office on 07 5528 3428.

We believe informed clients are empowered clients, and we always recommend you obtain legal advice before signing a contract.
